Fred began working in the jewelry industry at the age of 12. With diamond and colored stone certifications, Fred has been the head bench jeweler for over 35 years. He is the 2nd generation of Burkes and has led his store and community to amazing heights. Fred served as a President of the Chamber of Commerce, a board member for the Kilmarnock Museum and Downtown Kilmarnock Design Committee, and a Deacon at his church. Fred sets the standard for business and community leadership. He enjoys returning priceless pieces back to their original beauty and spending quality time with his family.

Karen Burke
Owner and Designer

Karen has been married to the love of her life, Fred, since 1988. She is a Virginia native that followed her father’s footsteps into sales. Her passion is making others happy; and beautiful jewelry does just that!  The Burkes family has grown, so, the most treasured moments are now made with her grandchildren, Fin and Pearl. Yet, a beloved pastime continues to be singing in her Praise and Worship band.

Justin Burke
Jewelry Designer

Justin is an artist and our resident third generation Burke. He is always thinking of the next big idea. A graphic designer, he enjoys creating the iconic billboards for our beautiful jewelry. Yet, his passion is ignited when designing one-of-a-kind jewelry that his customers will share for generations. Justin tours with his bluegrass band “JJ & Co.” He performs original songs in cities across the country, but always has his mind on The Northern Neck.
